Erik and Bianca had been dancing and performing separately for five years before teaming up in the summer of 2004. Bianca has a solid background in salon style and close embrace, bringing technique to the partnership and keeping one foot solidly on tradition. Erik's first teachers went on to become some of the most respected dancers of the Nuevo style, and he brings innovation to the pair keeping the other foot in the air (usually a gancho). With this balance of Yin and Yang, Erik and Bianca teach a class that stresses the sublime connection between partners and the music above all else.
